Priyadarshini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at NIFT Hyderabad, with over 19 years of experience in academia. Her expertise includes sustainable production, supply chain, and quality management in the textile industry. Coming from a family of academicians, she developed a strong interest in teaching and contributes to the academic development of students through teaching, mentoring, and industry-oriented learning. She brings experience from her association with the Garment Division and her previous role as a visiting faculty at various design institutions.
Her research interests focus on sustainable textile production, supply chain management, and quality management in the garment Industry. 

She is currently pursuing her PhD in Supply Chain Management on the handloom cottage industry. She actively engages in research activities and presents her research work at national and international conferences published in reputed journals. She continues to explore research areas in sustainable and efficient practices in the fashion and textile industry.
Beyond teaching and research, Priyadarshini is interested in industry–academia collaboration, experiential learning, mentoring, and the professional development of students. She contributes to academic and outreach initiatives that provide students with greater exposure to the textile industry, focusing on preparing future-ready fashion and textile professionals.
