Choosing NIFT for my master’s degree was an important step in my journey towards fashion and accessories. While I initially joined because of my interest in the field, what truly shaped my experience was the institute’s emphasis on research and independent learning. NIFT offered students the flexibility to explore their own interests while being part of a diverse and creative academic environment.

One of the most enriching aspects of campus life was learning alongside students from different educational and professional backgrounds. In a classroom where everyone was working on different ideas, projects, and specializations, learning extended far beyond lectures. Conversations, collaborations, and teamwork became valuable sources of knowledge. Each student brought unique perspectives, making the classroom a space for constant exchange of ideas and experiences.

The institute’s strong research culture encouraged us to look beyond surface-level understanding and explore subjects in depth. It cultivated a habit of questioning, observing, and analysing details before arriving at conclusions. This approach not only strengthened academic learning but also influenced the way I think and work today. More than a degree, NIFT gave me a mindset,one that values curiosity, critical thinking, and continuous learning, preparing me to approach challenges with both creativity and a strong foundation in research.
