Tulika Saikia is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata, from the Department of Knitwear Design.
She has pursued her Masters’s in Design Space from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from the same. Her association with Export and Buying House has helped her develop expertise in the field of
design thinking, creative problem solving, and design methodology, gaining field experience with brands like Mothercare, Zara, Vero Moda, and Only. Since her forte lies in Graphic design and Typography Design as well, she has been constantly associated with the Fashion Communication department of NIFT, Kolkata. She has worked for Cognizant Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in the Cognizant Interactive Team. Her motto lies in transforming lives by transforming education, and she has academic experience with Lovely Professional University, where she headed the School of Fashion Design. Presently she is working with the Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Department of NIFT, Kolkata, in the capacity of Assistant Professor. Prior to this, she was holding the post Centre Coordinator and SDAC of NIFT Kolkata.
