Samant Chauhan is a distinguished Indian fashion designer celebrated for his refined craftsmanship, innovative textile development, and evocative design language rooted in history and culture. A 2004 Post-Graduate diploma holder in Knitwear Design from NIFT, New Delhi, he received the awards for ‘Most Innovative Fabric Development’ and ‘Best Design Collection’ at NIFT Confluence, Kolkata, for his graduating collection, early recognition of his exceptional design sensibility.

His international journey began in 2005 with a debut at Singapore Fashion Week for the Asian Young Designer Contest, where he presented his acclaimed collection “Changing Patterns of Buddhism along the Silk Route.” The collection received rave reviews from international fashion critics, including Collin McDowell, and was later showcased as part of India’s cultural promotion at TSUM, Moscow.

Samant Chauhan, as a design house, is synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship using Bhagalpuri silk, handwoven cotton, and luxurious silk textiles. His work draws deeply from architecture, historical narratives, and global travel, resulting in silhouettes enriched with detailed hand embroidery and sophisticated surface ornamentation.

The label has been widely embraced by leading celebrities including Karisma Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Aditi Rao Hydari, among others, further cementing its place in India’s luxury fashion landscape.
