A 2004 Post-Graduate diploma holder in Knitwear Design from NIFT, New Delhi, he received the awards for ‘Most Innovative Fabric Development’ and ‘Best Design Collection’ at NIFT Confluence, Kolkata, for his graduating collection, early recognition of his exceptional design sensibility.

His international journey began in 2005 with a debut at Singapore Fashion Week for the Asian Young Designer Contest, where he presented his acclaimed collection “Changing Patterns of Buddhism along the Silk Route.” The collection received rave reviews from international fashion critics, including Collin McDowell, and was later showcased as part of India’s cultural promotion at TSUM, Moscow.

Samant Chauhan, as a design house, is synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship using Bhagalpuri silk, handwoven cotton, and luxurious silk textiles.
