Bhopal CampusDr. Hema Dubey is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA) Department at NIFT Bhopal, with a strong interdisciplinary background in Computer Science and Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from MANIT Bhopal and a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from UIT, RGPV Bhopal. She currently serves as the In-Charge Officer for Social Media and also holds several key institutional responsibilities, including In-Charge IT, Webmaster, Resource Centre (RC) In-Charge, Unit In-Charge ERP (UI ERP), and COE. Her academic teaching portfolio includes Operations Research (OR), Research Methodology (RM), ERP for Fashion Business, E-Commerce, Design Management, CAD Drawing, Statistics for Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Her research interests include Data Mining, Web Mining, High-Performance Computing, Distributed Systems, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, IOT and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Her research focuses on applying emerging computational technologies to address real-world problems.
She has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, contributing to the fields of computing, data analytics, intelligent systems, and emerging technologies. Her notable academic achievements also include patents in technology-driven applications. She holds a South African patent for a Portable Crop Disease Detection Device and an Indian patent for a System and Method for Detecting and Regulating Parameters in a Greenhouse Environment, focusing on IoT-based smart greenhouse monitoring and regulation.
Dr. Hema Dubey has a keen interest in AI, emerging technologies, data analytics, IoT, digital transformation, and technology-enabled education. She actively contributes to institutional IT initiatives, social media, academic events, student mentoring, and outreach activities at NIFT Bhopal. Her interdisciplinary approach helps integrate technology, research, and creative education, fostering innovation and technology-based learning among students.
