Students of MDes, NIFT Bengaluru participated in a special workshop led by Ms. Julia Sauter from the Institute of Design Research Vienna, held from 10 to 12 March 2026 at NIFT Bengaluru facilitated by ms. Kriti Srivastava. During the workshop, students explored material innovation by creating toothbrushes using biodegradable materials foraged from the campus.
The outcomes of this workshop are now on display at the Science Gallery Bengaluru as part of the Imagine Coral Reefs exhibition, on view from 09 April to 04 May 2026. The exhibition is curated by Ms. Lotte of EOOS in collaboration with Ms. Jahnvi Phalkey, Director, Science Gallery Bengaluru.
