After graduating from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong, from the Fashion Design Department (Batch 2021–2025), I embarked on a professional journey focused on fashion education, leadership, and industry development. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Fashion Design Department at Dunes College, Kutch, operating in association with JD Institute of Fashion Technology. In this role, I am responsible for curriculum planning, academic management, student mentoring, and the overall development of the department. My work extends beyond classroom teaching, as I actively design industry-oriented learning experiences through workshops, guest lectures, practical training sessions, fashion events, exhibitions, and craft-based projects. I strive to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by encouraging students to develop creativity, technical expertise, and professional confidence.

A significant aspect of my work involves promoting India’s rich textile heritage and traditional crafts through contemporary fashion education. I guide students in understanding the value of sustainable design practices while exploring innovative approaches to fashion. Additionally, I collaborate with artisans, industry professionals, and creative organizations to provide students with meaningful exposure and real-world opportunities. This position has allowed me to contribute to the growth of future designers while continuously expanding my own knowledge, leadership abilities, and understanding of the evolving fashion industry.
