*My journey as a costume designer and costume asst. has been a creative and rewarding experience filled with learning, passion, and growth. Through every project, I have explored different characters, cultures, and storytelling styles, transforming ideas into visual expressions through costume design. Each production has strengthened my skills in research, design, collaboration, and attention to detail. Working closely with directors, actors, and creative teams has taught me the importance of teamwork and adaptability. This journey has not only shaped my professional career but has also deepened my love for the art of bringing stories to life through costumes.

Hi, My name is Master Sagar AKA Sagar Shreedh as my professional name, i am from NIFT batch 2011-2015 and i am a best design collection awardee in 2015, My journey in the world of fashion and costume design began at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), where I developed a strong foundation in fashion, textiles, garment construction, design aesthetics, and visual storytelling. As a student, I was passionate about exploring creativity while understanding the technical aspects of design. NIFT provided me with opportunities to work on diverse projects, collaborate with talented peers, and gain practical exposure to the dynamic fashion industry. These experiences helped shape my design sensibilities and strengthened my ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.

After completing my education, I ventured into the field of costume design, where I found my true passion in bringing characters and stories to life through clothing. As a costume designer and chief costume assistant, I have worked on various productions, carefully crafting looks that reflect the personality, era, culture, and emotional journey of each character. My work involves extensive research, concept development, fabric selection, styling, fittings, and close collaboration with directors, actors, and production teams. I have worked as a costume designer and costume asst in several known movies for example as 2nd costume asst in (The immortal ashwatthama by RSVP) 1st costume asst in Mahabharata by disney hotstar costume designer in Dantewada 1st costume asst. in Ramayana by DNEG and a hollywood project (The Peasant (SOLA) by A24 production). Over the years, I have learned that costume design is much more than creating garments—it is an art form that enhances storytelling and helps audiences connect with characters on a deeper level. My journey from a dedicated NIFT student to a professional costume designer and costume asst.has been filled with learning, creativity, and growth, and I continue to embrace every opportunity to evolve and contribute to the world of visual storytelling.
