Sandeep Kumar Mohar is a Graduate of NIFT(Gandhinagar) in Fashion Design and Masters in the same, currently working as Assistant Professor and Campus Coordinator of Fashion Design Department at NIFT Gandhinagar. working in the Fashion trade since 2004 in various roles such as Designer, Manager in the Fashion Industry and Design consultant in Indian Handicraft sector along with Academics of Fashion Design.

Ravi Joshi has taught fashion design pedagogy, costume history, illustration, and design for two decades. Trained in fashion design at NIFT Gandhinagar from 1999 to 2003, he brings extensive academic experience to an interdisciplinary practice rooted in art-making, clothing histories, regional craft traditions, and contemporary design processes. His teaching encourages students to become independent creators of ideas and to engage critically with fashion, material culture, and consumption.

Shrinivasa K. R. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar, with over 28 years of experience in design education and professional practice. He joined NIFT in 2003 and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, with expertise in Design Fundamentals, Visualisation and Representation Techniques, Fashion Illustration, Product Illustration, Portfolio and Design Development, Art and Design Aesthetics, History and Philosophy of Design, Semiotics, Typography, and Calligraphy.

Dr Vandita Seth is a Professor of Fashion Design and specializes in the area of fashion apparel and Indian textile history and traditional crafts. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students of various design and technology disciplines. She has over 30 years of experience teaching talented fashion design and technology students. Her experience spans academic administration as she held the prestigious post of Chairperson of the Fashion Design Department at NIFT from January 2024 to May 2025.

Dr. Shubhangi is an Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Textile Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar, with over two decades of experience in textile design education, academic leadership and design research. She specializes in Weave Design and Technology and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for Textiles, with extensive teaching experience in weaving and textile design. She has been associated with NIFT since 2005 and has served as Associate Professor since 2008.

Dr. Priyanka Kumari is an Assistant Professor of Textile Design, specializing in design fundamentals, traditional textiles, weave design, and print design. She teaches undergraduate courses and contributes to textile and design education. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Textile Design from Banasthali University, cleared NET and GSET in 2016, and also received UGC-BSR Fellowship, and completed her PhD from The MS University of Baroda in 2021. She joined NIFT in 2018, also served as Course Coordinator of the Foundation Programme at NIFT Bhubaneswar from 2019 to 2021.

Dr. Ranjeet Kumar is an Assistant Professor and Course Coordinator of the Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar. He has more than 18 years of academic and industry experience in jewellery and lifestyle accessories design, product development, UI/UX, exhibition and retail design, craft-based innovation, and design education.

Prof. Gaurav Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Design Department at NIFT Gandhinagar and serves as Nodal Officer for Admissions. He has extensive experience of more than 23 years  in design education, academic administration, research, consultancy, and craft-based project development. His expertise includes Strategic Design Management, User Experience Design, Design Thinking, Innovation in Design, Information Design, Product Design, Jewellery Design, and Lifestyle Accessory Design.

Dr. Kruti Dholakia is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar, and currently serves as Campus Coordinator of the Department of Design Space. With extensive experience in design education, textiles, fashion, and craft studies, her expertise includes research methodology, trend forecasting, systems thinking, design for society, co-design, inclusive design, and design for sustainability. As a registered PhD supervisor, she is committed to mentoring emerging scholars and designers passionately.

Mr. Asit Bhatt is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design Space, Master of Design Programme at NIFT Gandhinagar. He teaches Sustainable Systems, Design Thinking, Interaction and Instruction Design. He joined NIFT in the year 2013. He previously served as the Course Coordinator of Foundation Programme (CC-FP) from 2014 to 2018 and of Master of Design (CC-MDes) from 2021 to 2025.
