Dr. B. Venkatesh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Knitwear Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. He specializes in knitwear design, textile materials, textile chemical processing, and sustainable textile applications. He has around 10 years of experience in teaching and research and has served as the Link Regional Industry Coordinator for three years, facilitating industry–academia engagement and institutional collaborations.

Dr. Sasmita Panda is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Government of India, Hyderabad. With a distinguished academic and professional career spanning over 29 years in both industry and higher education, she has made significant contributions to textile design education, research, and craft development.

Ms. Achanta Rajyalakshmi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. She began her teaching career in 2002 and has 24 years of academic and teaching experience, with expertise in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship. She holds an MBA and an MPhil and is currently pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship. She joined NIFT in 2009 and teaches finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Gajam Rajesh Kumar is currently working as Associate  Professor in Textile Design Dept. NIFT-Hyderabad. He has total work experience of 28 years which includes both industry and academics. He has been working with NIFT since 2001.

Dr. K Ram Mohan is a Professor with the with the department of Fashion Technology at NIFT Hyderabad, and currently holding the additional responsibility as Campus Academic coordinator at Hyderabad Campus. He has completed his Ph. D in Production Management area. He has worked in the industry for 8.5 years before joining NIFT in 2003, and as about 25 years of experience as academician. He specializes in Industrial Engineering, Production management, Production planning and control.

Dr. Malini Divakala is a founding member of the NIFT Hyderabad campus and joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology in 1995 in the Department of Fashion Design. An alumna of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara, she further enriched her professional experience through a faculty exchange programme at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York.
 

Dr. Kamma Kshamarpna Babu is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Communication Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. He specializes in digital design, emerging technologies, and technology-enabled communication for fashion education. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Virtual Experience Design, 3D Modelling, CLO 3D, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, photography, and digital visual communication.

Ms Madhupriya Jha Thakur is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad, and currently serves as Coordinator, International and Domestic Linkages. She teaches in the Fashion Design and Accessories Design departments. Her teaching areas include Fashion Design Representation, Trend Studies and Forecasting, Headgear Design, Bag Design, Design Thinking, Design Methodology and Process, Costume and Textiles, and Leather Studies, including soft and hard goods.

Mr. Avinash Raipally is an Associate Professor in Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad, with over 18 years of academic, professional and administrative experience. His expertise spans Product Design, Design Research, Design Thinking, Communication Design, Packaging, Visual Merchandising, Retail Experience Design and Design Management. He pursued his education at reputed institutions including Sainik School - Korukonda, NIFT - Hyderabad, Domus Academy - Milan, and Osmania University.

Upasna Bhandari is an Assistant professor with the Textile Design department at NIFT Hyderabad. She teaches courses such as Textile printing, Dyeing, Traditional Textiles, Art and Design history, Design fundamentals, Aesthetics, and mentors Design projects. She holds a PhD in Design from IIT Hyderabad. Having completed Master in Textile Design from NID in 2012, she has worked in the industry and academia for 10 years with experience in handloom, power loom, carpets, craft research and trend research.
