Dr. Natalie Jo-Anne Diengdoh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Shillong. She specialises in media studies, folklore, cultural communication, documentary production, and indigenous knowledge systems. With over two decades of professional experience in media and more than ten years in higher education, she brings extensive expertise in teaching, research, and creative practice.

Mr. Siewspah D. Buhroy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong, where he also serves as the Campus Coordinator for Fashion Management Studies. He joined NIFT in 2013 after gaining professional experience in the retail industry, including with the luxury brand FENDI. His expertise spans retail management, luxury brand management, visual merchandising, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
Ms. Kimberly Manners is an Asst. Professor in the Fashion Design Department at NIFT, Shillong. She completed her B.Des in Fashion Design at NIFT, Mumbai, and M.Des in Communication Design at IDC, IIT Bombay. She is an Interdisciplinary Designer and has worked in the areas of Apparel Design, Systems Design and UI UX. She has previously worked as an Asst. Professor at NID, Assam for 3 years, with an affinity for Design Education. She is keen on pursuing research in Design Pedagogy.

Ms. Rimi Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong. An alumna of NIFT New Delhi 1999 batch, she joined NIFT Shillong in 2012 and has since been actively involved in teaching undergraduate courses in fashion design, with a focus on design processes, product development, and sustainable design practices.
Mr. Ksankupar Khongstit is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong, where he joined in 2021. He has expertise in consumer behaviour, marketing research, organisational behaviour, textile technology, and branding. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion management and actively contributes to academic development, industry engagement, and institutional initiatives. Labakorcy War is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong. She is a design educator and apparel designer with an interdisciplinary academic background that combines engineering and fashion design. She holds a Master of Design (M.Des.) in Apparel Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology. With expertise in design thinking, product development, and creative problem-solving, Ms.
Dr. Wanrisa Bok Kharkongor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory (F&LA) at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong. She holds a Master of Design (M.Des.) and a Ph.D. in Design from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. Her teaching and research interests include Form Studies, Design Processes, Lifestyle Accessory and Product Design, and User-Centric Design. Prior to joining NIFT Shillong, Dr. Kharkongor served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Design at Vishwakarma University, Pune.
Dr. Lisa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design, NIFT Shillong and currently serves as Campus Coordinator. She began her career at Delhi University before joining NIFT in 2021. At NIFT, she teaches Value Addition, Costume Studies, Fabric Fundamentals, Sustainable Fashion, etc. In 2024, she completed a two week training program on Sustainable Fashion and Textiles at STF, Zurich, which broadened her international exposure and enriched her academic practice. She earned her PhD from the University of Delhi, supported by JRF.
Febby Dickenson Shanpru is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Design and specializes in Bespoke Men, Heritage Couture women, Garment construction, Manufacturing processes and Technology. He teaches undergraduate courses and is also the Head Resource Center I/c at NIFT Shillong centre. He completed his B Com from St Anthony’s college, Shillong and his Post Graduate diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology from NIFT New Delhi in the year 2000.
