Ms. Prabha Swati is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. She has over 13 years of experience. She joined NIFT in 2018 and is committed to fostering creativity, technical excellence, and design innovation among aspiring fashion professionals. She holds a B.Sc. in Fashion & Apparel Design and an M.Sc. in Apparel Technology & Management, in which she secured the fourth rank at the University level. She is also UGC-NET qualified.

Ms. Bharti Pahuja is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. She specializes in Textile Wet Processing, Textile Finishing, Fibre Science, Textile Testing, Textile Technology, Natural Dyeing and Eco-printing, and Textile Craft Studies, and brings over 11 years of academic experience. She holds an M.Tech in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D.

Saumya Saxena is an Assistant Professor and Student Development Activity Coordinator (SDAC) at NIFT Panchkula. She specializes in Print Design, Textile CAD, Craft-Based Product Development, and Traditional and World Textiles, employing an interactive teaching approach. She previously worked as a Designer with Shingora Textiles Limited, Ludhiana for over four years.
Dr. Jai Kishan Sambharia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. He specializes in manufacturing engineering, apparel production, industrial engineering, and polymer material, with expertise in advanced machining processes, additive manufacturing, lean manufacturing, and product development. He has over nine years of teaching experience across engineering and fashion education, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses while integrating engineering principles with fashion technology.
Prof. Rakhi Wahee Pratap brings rich, multifaceted academic and industry experience spanning approximately three decades. As the Campus Academic Coordinator at NIFT Panchkula, she plays a pivotal role in unifying key stakeholders, acting as a strategic bridge between senior management, academic teaching staff, and emerging creative talent. As a passionate research enthusiast, she channels her doctoral research to drive eco-conscious practices within fashion education and the broader industry.
Ms. Kanu Priya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. She has over 13 years of teaching experience in higher education and has been associated with NIFT since 2020. Prior to joining NIFT, she served as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and an M.Tech in Software Engineering.
Dr. Ritika Saxena is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula, with over thirteen years of academic experience in design, journalism, digital media, and communication. She also serves as the Unit In-Charge, Intellectual Property Rights (UI-IPR), where she oversees institutional IPR initiatives and policy implementation. Her teaching expertise spans User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Brand Strategy, Digital Media, Layout and Publication Design, and Journalism.

Dr. Vishu Arora is Associate Professor in the Department of Design Space. She has an academic experience of 22 years in the domains of textiles and sustainability. At present she is holding the additional responsibility of Unit Incharge-Research in the Research and IPR Unit at Head Office-NIFT. She is also nominated as the coordinator & principal investigator of GEF-UNIDO-MoT project aimed at eliminating hazardous chemicals in the India's textile and fashion chain.

Bhawna Chauhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design Space at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula. She specializes in social design, inclusive design, user experience, and design research. She joins NIFT Panchkula in October 2021 and currently teaches interdisciplinary design practice in the postgraduate programme.

Ms. Sonika Siwach is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Panchkula. She specializes in fashion retail, e-commerce, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, buying and merchandising, and category management. She has over ten years of professional experience in the e-commerce industry before transitioning to academia.
