I am Rohit, an alumnus of NIFT Bengaluru (2020–2024), Department of Fashion Technology, and currently working at Avery Dennison, as GOLD Operations Associate. At NIFT, different subject exposure such as Production Planning, Lean Manufacturing, Product Development, IoT, Data Analysis, Engineering Drawing, Costing etc, plays quite a pivotal role in laying a strong technical foundation.

Ankit is a BFTech graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore (2014–2018 batch), and a mobility operator with more than a decade of experience building India's transportation ecosystem. He is recognised for his foundational contributions to two of the country's most prominent mobility companies, Bounce and Namma Yatri, where he served as a founding member during their earliest stages of inception.

Born in a village in Nalanda, Bihar, and raised in an agricultural family, my journey has taken me across Patna, Kota, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi, exposing me to diverse cultures, industries, and opportunities. I graduated from NIFT Bengaluru with a degree in Apparel Production and began my career at Myntra, where I spent four years across merchandising, buying, and business planning roles, managing multiple brands and product categories.

Deepika Khatri is the Founder and Creative Director of Deepika Khatri, a sustainable luxury fashion label based in Frankfurt, Germany. A graduate of Knitwear Design from NIFT Bengaluru (2011–2015), she has built a career that beautifully blends Indian craftsmanship with contemporary global fashion.

I am a Red Dot award-winning strategic product designer with over 11+ years of experience, recognized as a double gold medallist from NIFT Bangalore and the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Currently, I lead a multidisciplinary design studio at one of largest drone companies in India, where we design UAV systems for multiple sectors like defence, surveillance, mining, and logistics industries on both the industrial design and UX side.

Astha Singla is a fashion forward textile designer known for her innovation-led approach. A NIFT Bangalore graduate, she built her foundation on strong textile fundamentals, material sensitivity, and a deep understanding of fabric construction and aesthetics.

Dr Renjini G is an associate professor with the Department of Fashion Technology, specializing in garment production technology and product development. She teaches production planning and control, lean manufacturing, Industrial engineering, research methodology, statistics, and advanced patternmaking and construction to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She currently holds the additional post of Unit-Incharge Publications. As part of this role, she works as the associate editor of the NIFT Journal of Fashion. 

Dr Subhalakshmi Kropi is an Associate Professor and specialises in adaptive sportswear with a strong interest in designing inclusive and functional sportswear for wheelchair athletes. She has been teaching subjects like Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Anthropometry and Sizing, 3D Body Scanning and Simulation, SPME, Surface Techniques, etc. She received her PhD from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi. Beyond academics, she is an ardent traveller and a passionate sports enthusiast.
