Sneha Jha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru, specializing in handloom weaving and craft clusters. Her expertise spans textile design practice, material culture, and craft-based production. She trained as a textile designer at NIFT Bengaluru and graduated as a gold medallist, and she completed a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication. She previously held design and development roles in industry and consulted on a government craft-skilling program.

Dr. Nilanjana Bairagi is an Associate Professor and former Campus Academic Coordinator at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru. She earned her M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi. She joined NIFT in 2018. 
With over 24 years of academic and research experience, she specializes in user-centered design, sustainable fashion, inclusive clothing, and craft research. Her work blends user research with technology to develop functional apparel, product innovations, and designs for special needs. 
 

Dr. Usha Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and serve as Unit Incharge (UI) – ERP at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru. She specializes in Emerging Digital Technologies, with expertise spanning UI/UX Design, Information Architecture, Web Design, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Data Analytics.

Dr. R. Rashmi Munshi is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru, with over twenty-one years of teaching and practice. She specialises in Design Thinking & Management, User Experience Design, Design Semiotics, Trend Research and Forecasting, AI applications in design, and Qualitative and Ethnographic research. She holds a PhD in Design from NIFT, awarded in 2019, and a Master of Design from NIFT, New Delhi, completed in 2001.

Pratik Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Management Studies Department at NIFT Bengaluru, where he has been serving since 2014. He is a NIFT MFM alumnus and holds a bachelor’s (honours) degree in Biotechnology, supported by 4.5 years of industry experience with Alok Industries, Tesco and Max Fashions in merchandising and retail planning, visual merchandising and corporate marketing. His teaching expertise includes fashion retail and brand management, digital and social media marketing, e-commerce, buying and planning, and customer experience management.

Ms. Harsha Rani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru. Her academic and professional expertise spans textile science, fashion management, the global fashion business, and sustainable fashion. She joined NIFT in 2014 at Bhubaneswar campus and served as Cluster Initiatives Coordinator, Coordinator- Domestic and International Linkages and Link-Student Development Activity Coordinator during her tenure from 2014-2021.

Dr. B. Raja serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bengaluru, India, where he has been a faculty member since 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the Central University of Tamil Nadu and possesses extensive academic training in journalism, electronic media, and communication. With more than two decades of experience in higher education and media studies, Dr. Raja has previously served as a faculty member at Madras Christian College and A. M.

Nithya Venkataraman is an Associate Professor with the Department of Knitwear Design at NIFT Bengaluru, teaching in areas covering Trend and Forecast research, Merchandising and Buying, Activewear and Athleisure and Research methodology. Her areas of interest include studying consumption patterns in retail, Trend mapping and Spotting, and Effective Storytelling for Sustainable consumption.

Prof. Sanjeev Sadashiv Malage is a Professor of Consumer behavior & Neuromarketing at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru.  His current areas of teaching and research include Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Neuromarketing and Strategic Management.
