Dr. D Praveen Nagarajan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology, Chennai and Joint Director (I/c) NIFT Chennai campus. He has completed B.E (Textile Technology), M. Tech., (Textile Technology) , and PhD in Engineering (Sustainable Natural Fiber Green composite).

Dr.Geetha Ranjini is an Associate Professor with the department of Fashion Design is a millennial batch FD graduate from NIFT, Bangalore, with the award of best fabric development. With the rich knowledge of Fashion Design, Graphic Design for Fashion, Master's in Business Administration, and teaching experience of 26 years. She has a rich knowledge of Handlooms of Tamilnadu after completing her Ph.D. research on ‘Sustainability of Silk Weavers in Tamilnadu’.

Lordsun Sivakumar S is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), with over 22 years of diverse experience across fashion and apparel design, merchandising, product development, fashion styling, creative direction, and fashion education. His expertise bridges industry practice and academic learning, with teaching and mentoring in fashion styling, editorial styling, fashion concepts, apparel merchandising, product development, design fundamentals, and creative thinking.

Dr. T. Murugan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai. He has been associated with NIFT Chennai since 14 March 2008 and has extensive academic and industry experience in fashion technology, apparel manufacturing and textile engineering.

Dr. Martin Jeyasingh Mathews is a Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and an enthusiastic educator committed to creativity, innovation, and academic excellence. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology and Fashion from Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research, Chennai, along with M.Phil. and M.C.A. degrees. He has been associated with NIFT since 2003.

Dr. Beeraka Chalapathi is an Associate Professor (Technical) in the Accessory Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai, where he has been a dedicated faculty member since 2005. A proven academic leader, he also serves as the Campus Academic Coordinator for NIFT Chennai, a role he assumed in 2024.

Dr. A. O. Abdul Salam Sait is an academic and textile and fashion technology professional with extensive experience in teaching, management, textile technology and apparel manufacturing. He serves as an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai, where he contributes to fashion and textile education through teaching, academic guidance and professional engagement. He has been associated with NIFT as a faculty since 1996. Dr.

Present : Ms. Padmapriya M. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology (DFT) and holds the position of Campus Coordinator for DFT at NIFT Chennai. She also served as Unit In-Charge for CE & Diploma Programmes from 2016 to 2019 and as Student Development & Activity Coordinator (SDAC) from 2020 to 2023. She has 17 years of academic experience and 7 years of professional experience in fashion technology.
