Akanksha is currently based in Sweden, where she works with IKEA, making her the only woman from India to hold a design role within the organisation’s global team.

He further expanded his professional foundation with a postgraduate degree in Brand Marketing from Nottingham Trent University, UK, equipping him with a strong understanding of creative strategy and brand building.

Easternlight Zimik is a fashion designer, illustrator, and print designer whose creative world is shaped by music, poetry, and the philosophies of Japanese holistic fashion. A proud alumnus of the Knitwear Design Department at NIFT, New Delhi, he strives to create a strong visual and cultural voice in his work, where conceptual thought meets commercial relevance.

Samant Chauhan is a distinguished Indian fashion designer celebrated for his refined craftsmanship, innovative textile development, and evocative design language rooted in history and culture. A 2004 Post-Graduate diploma holder in Knitwear Design from NIFT, New Delhi, he received the awards for ‘Most Innovative Fabric Development’ and ‘Best Design Collection’ at NIFT Confluence, Kolkata, for his graduating collection, early recognition of his exceptional design sensibility.

Pooja Ratnakar, a NIFT Delhi alumnus, is a visionary in the crafts sector, dedicated to preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage through innovative educational initiatives. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi successfully hosted a vibrant Handloom Day celebration on August 7, 2026. As detailed in the event posters, the celebration honoured traditional weavers while looking toward the future of sustainable fashion. Coordinated by CIC Dr. Tulika Mahanty, the event featured a curated two-day Mini Craft Bazaar (August 6th & 7th) on the 3rd floor, alongside a captivating exhibition on the 2nd floor that showcased the creative works of textile design students.

NIFT New Delhi commemorated the 80th Independence Day with a ceremonial observance attended by faculty, staff, and students.
