Mr. Akash Gupta is an Assistant Professor in Department of Fashion Technology and Link - Regional Industry Co-ordinator, have joined this esteemed institution in March’ 2020. He is Master in Computer Application and has also qualified UGC NET 2017, 2014. He has worked as Assistant Professor in United Institute of Management (FUGS) Prayagraj, also worked as Computer Instructor in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Mr. Akhilendra Pratap Sonkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and currently serves as the Link-Campus Academic Coordinator (Link-CAC). He is pursuing his Ph.D., exploring the strategic role of visual merchandising in fashion trend communication and brand image.
Mr. Sachin Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Corporate Communication Cell (CCC). He teaches photography, visual communication, design thinking, and fashion image-making. With over a decade of professional and academic experience, he has expertise in fashion photography, visual storytelling, image construction, branding, and creative communication. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in visual applied Arts, with research focused on fashion imagery, visual narratives, and contemporary image-making practices.
Dr. Vivek Jangra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design with over 15 years of combined experience in the apparel industry and academia. He holds a B.Tech. in Textile Technology and a Master’s degree in Fashion Technology from NIFT, New Delhi, and has completed his Ph.D. in Technical Textiles.
Dr. Ajay Kumar is an Assistant Professor in department of Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories and specializes in Applied Arts at NIFT Raebareli. He teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate courses the subjects of Applied Arts (Visual Arts). He joined NIFT in 2019 at NIFT, Raebareli. He previously served as Center Coordinator of F&LA from 2021 to 2023 and has been holding the charge of CIC since July 2026.
Priyanshu Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Raebareli. He joined the institute in 2021 and has over 15 years of academic experience in design and technology education. He holds a B.Tech from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (2009) and an M.Tech from SHIATS (2012). His teaching expertise includes UI/UX Design, Web Design, and Design Research.
Dr. Ashish Chandra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Leather Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Raebareli, where he also serves as the Regional Industry Coordinator (RIC). In this capacity, he actively fosters industry–academia collaboration, facilitates consultancy and sponsored projects, and strengthens partnerships with leading organizations to enhance experiential learning and student employability. He holds a Ph.D.
Ms. Sapna Kushwaha is a distinguished alumna of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) bringing more than 15 + years of comprehensive experience spanning industry, academia, and research in the field of textiles. Her professional journey reflects a dynamic blend of technical and academic excellence, with vast experience in fabric manufacturing, dyeing, printing, quality evaluation of textiles, and garment manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Praveen Srivastava is an assistant professor in the Department of Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), where he has been serving since August 2014. He has over 19 years of academic and teaching experience, with expertise spanning ergonomics, manufacturing processes, material science, technical drawing, production planning and control, prototyping, and model making. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. He completed his M.Tech.
Mayank Kaushal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Raebareli. He specialises in Colour, Material and Finish (CMF), system design thinking, form generation, product innovation, user research, and fashion and trend forecasting. He holds an M.Des. in Accessory Design from the National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar, and a B.Des. in Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories from NIFT Raebareli.
