Dr Pavol Sahadevan is an Assistant Professor of Fashion Management Studies at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur, where she teaches design and management courses to postgraduate and undergraduate students. With over twelve years of combined teaching and industry experience, she specialises in sustainable entrepreneurship, fashion sustainability, and consumer behaviour, bringing a practitioner's perspective drawn from her earlier merchandising roles with brands such as Avery Dennison, where she worked with clients including Mothercare, Walmart, and Disney.
Ms. Drishya V. C. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Knitwear Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). She joined NIFT in 2014 and has since been actively involved in teaching, curriculum delivery, and academic mentoring. Her areas of teaching include Fashion Styling and Draping, where she focuses on developing students' creative, technical, and conceptual skills. She is committed to fostering innovation, design thinking, and industry-relevant learning, while guiding students through practical and research-oriented approaches to fashion education.
Shangrella MK Rajesh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at NIFT Kannur, where she has been serving since 2021. With over two decades of experience in fashion education, design consultancy, and academic administration, she specializes in pattern making, garment construction, draping, heritage couture, bespoke menswear, performance clothing, material studies, and sustainable fashion.
Mr. Chandramouli N. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology with expertise in Textile Technology and Apparel Manufacturing. He has been serving at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) since 2010, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses while contributing to academic and research activities in apparel production, manufacturing systems, and merchandising. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at NIFT, with research focused on circular fashion, clothing consumption, and sustainable apparel systems.
Smija K. G, Assistant Professor in the Master of Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur. Design educator, researcher and a multidisciplinary visual artist , Fifteen years of academic and professional experience spanning fine arts, architecture, design education, visual culture, and interdisciplinary creative practice. She holds a Master of Visual Arts from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala, a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Applied Arts) from the Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur, and a Diploma in Multimedia and Animation.
Dr. R. Ramachandran is a Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur, and specializes in sustainable fashion product development, advanced weave structures and design, 3D printing technology in fashion, and 3D apparel simulation and fit analysis. He brings over 25 years of teaching, research, and industry experience in textile and apparel technology. He holds a B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D., and previously served at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, rising from Lecturer to Professor over more than two decades.

Mr. Kabilan C. is a faculty member specializing in user experience (UX) research, product development, and contemporary design methodologies. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate design students, with a focus on human-computer interaction (HCI) frameworks and design thinking. Prior to academia, he held professional roles at Burberry India, San Andres Milano, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, the Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, and Srinivas University.

Divya P R is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at NIFT Kannur, specialising in graphic design, publication design, branding, semiotics, letterforms, and digital design. She has 10 years of experience and 6 years of industry experience. She completed her Master of Design (M.Des) from NIFT Delhi and brings expertise in visual communication and editorial design.
Ms.V. Divyaa is an Assistant Professor of Textile Design. Passion for Design and Teaching brought her to Join NIFT in the year 2018 at NIFT, Kannur. She Specializes in Surface Design, Traditional Textiles, Pattern Making and Garment Construction, Textile Processing, Apparel and Home Textiles.
Ms. Anusha Arun is an Assistant Professor with the department of Knitwear Design at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur, Kerala India. She has extensive professional experience of 5 years in retail, visual Merchandising with H&M India and Pantaloons Fashion & Retail. She is ambitious, and her passion for pursuing her career in design and academics motivated her to join NIFT in the year 2019. She has 7 years of experience as a faculty in at NIFT.
