Choosing NIFT for my master’s degree was an important step in my journey towards fashion and accessories. While I initially joined because of my interest in the field, what truly shaped my experience was the institute’s emphasis on research and independent learning. NIFT offered students the flexibility to explore their own interests while being part of a diverse and creative academic environment.

Shambhavi Bajaj is an entrepreneur, creative strategist, and the Founder of Outmatch, a digital agency specializing in branding, design, development, and creative solutions for businesses worldwide. A graduate of the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) program from NIFT Gandhinagar (Batch 2020), she has successfully combined her understanding of business, creativity, and consumer engagement to build a dynamic agency serving diverse clients across industries.

Ashish Satyavrat Sahu is an Indian fashion designer, entrepreneur, and cultural advocate known for promoting Jharkhand's rich textile heritage through contemporary fashion. A graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, he began his career in the fashion industry and later worked with renowned designer Ritu Kumar. Inspired by his deep connection to Jharkhand’s tribal culture, crafts, and handloom traditions, he founded the sustainable fashion brand Johargram in 2020.

Hitesh Arora is a seasoned business professional and entrepreneur serving as the Managing Director of J Merchandise, a company engaged in apparel merchandising, sourcing, and business solutions for the fashion industry. A graduate of the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) program at NIFT Gandhinagar (Batch 2010), he has successfully combined industry knowledge with strong managerial capabilities to build a distinguished career in the fashion and textile sector.

Arpit Porwal is a Senior Design Lead distinguished for his thoughtful integration of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary textile design. Driven by a deep commitment to materials, processes, and artisan narratives, his work reflects a nuanced balance between cultural authenticity and global relevance.

At NIFT Gandhinagar, I didn't just study design. I learned how to push myself into unfamiliar territory and stay there long enough for something meaningful to come out of it. The interdisciplinary studios exposed me to ways of thinking I wouldn't have found in a more siloed programme. That ability to hold discomfort, stay curious, and keep working is what I carry into every project.

Preksha Chopra is an entrepreneur, innovator, and the Founder of MyWelme, a pioneering women’s wellness brand focused on transforming menstrual health through thoughtful and technology-driven solutions. A graduate of the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) program at NIFT Gandhinagar (Batch 2014), she has leveraged her expertise in business management, consumer insights, and product innovation to build a brand that addresses critical yet often underrepresented aspects of women’s healthcare.

Chintan Sanghvi is an entrepreneur and fashion business professional, best known as the Co-Founder of Bauble Bazaar, a fashion accessories and jewelry brand recognized for its contemporary designs and customer-centric approach. A graduate of the Master of Fashion Management (MFM) program at NIFT Gandhinagar (Batch 2014), he has leveraged his expertise in fashion business, retail management, and consumer insights to establish a successful venture in the competitive fashion industry.

Inspired by the brilliant, counted-thread Soof embroidery of Gujarat, the logo honors the deliberate geometry stitched by its female artisans. The interlocking triangular shapes directly replicate the craft's signature motifs, symbolizing structured growth, deep-rooted heritage, and the sharp vision of the women who craft these masterpieces without having a single pencil sketch. A heritage of unbroken colorful threads, interlaced and imbedded in Soof.
