Sharmila Sure is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology, with expertise in apparel production. She joined the department in 2005; She has served as the Centre Coordinator of the department from 2008 to 2010. She teaches a range of subjects related to apparel manufacturing and garment development, including sewing equipment, quality control, pattern making for woven and knitted garments, garment construction, and digital pattern making.

Srikanth Gella serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). He possesses extensive academic and design experience, specializing in design development, trend forecasting, printing techniques. In his current position, he mentors undergraduate design students, supervises industry-driven projects, and delivers core coursework across textile development disciplines.

Mitali Kapoor is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. She holds a Master’s degree in Apparel Design from the National Institute of Design (NID) and graduated in Fashion Design from NIFT Hyderabad. Her professional experience spans export houses, design houses, retail and e-commerce brands, and academia, where she has worked as a designer, leader, educator, and design professional.

Dr. Rajitha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Knitwear Design at NIFT Hyderabad. She holds a Doctorate in Textile & Clothing and has over 27 years of cumulative experience spanning the textile industry, ICAR research projects and academics, including around 21 years of teaching and academic experience at NIFT. She teaches Undergarduate and Post graduate courses and guides the Ph D scholars.  Dr. Rajitha is a co-inventor on two patents related to research on Engineered Green Paints for Commercial Textile Printing.

Shoba. Uppe is an associate professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad, with over 23 years of academic experience in fashion and design education with 6 years of industrial experience. An NIFT graduate with a Master of Arts, she recently submitted her Ph.D. thesis. Her expertise spans garment construction, pattern development, design fundamentals, heritage couture, craft-based design, wearable art, bespoke menswear, and design collection.

Dr. G. Chiranjeevi Reddy is a Professor in the Fashion & Lifestyle Accessory Design (F&LA) Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. He has over 25 years of experience in design education and more than eight years of industry experience in research and development. His areas of expertise include product and accessory design, material exploration, packaging design, craft-based design, manufacturing processes, and design education. He holds a Ph.D. in Design Education and an M.E.

Mohammad Suhail is an Associate Professor with the Fashion Communication department at the Hyderabad Campus. He was with the Design Space Department at the Delhi Campus from 2009-2018. He has been teaching at public and private institutions across the country over the past two decades.
