Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das is an Associate Professor in the Leather Design discipline at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata. He has over 28 years of professional and academic experience in the field of Fashion, Apparel, and Accessories. His areas of expertise include apparel design, product development, design communication, marketing, business development, institutional administration, and process implementation.

Ms. Supriya Choudhury Basu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Textile Design. She teaches computer application subjects right from the Foundation level to Seven semester of Undergraduate degree programme with digital design, graphic design Artificial intelligence, , Computer aided softwares for Fashion and Textiles, 3D softwares etc. She joined in the year 2000 and come a long way contributing to her home Department as well as other departments with various pathways. She is at present doing her PhD in design and management.

Ashish Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata, where he also serves as the Centre Coordinator for the Fashion Design Department. His primary areas of expertise include pattern making, draping, garment construction, apparel development, menswear, Indian wear, couture and prêt, Portfolio Development, and fashion design education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Design Department, NIFT Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Design.

Dr. Anannya Deb Roy, Associate Professor, started his academic journey in NIFT from FMS, NIFT, Delhi in 2008 and currently attached with FMS,NIFT, Kolkata. He is a MBA in Marketing and Ph.D in Management from the University of Calcutta.

He is a National Level Resource Person and Recognized Trainer (RT) recognized and certified by Department of Personnel and Training(DoPT), GOI, conducts ToT on “Experiential Learning Tools” for government administrative officers across different Administrative Training Institutes and National Academy for Training and Research, New Delhi.

Montu Basak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata. A textile engineer by training, he earned his Bachelor of Textile Technology from the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore (GCETTS) in 2004, and subsequently completed a Master of Science in Advanced Textiles and Performance Clothing at the School of Design, University of Leeds, UK, in 2008.
