Dr Supriya Yadav is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA) at NIFT Bhopal. She has over twenty-one years of professional experience spanning academia, research, design, merchandising at export houses, and the fashion accessories industry, including nearly eighteen years at NIFT. Her areas of expertise include fashion and lifestyle accessory design, product development with a specialization in bag design and construction, design methodology, trend forecasting, craft-based product development, and luxury accessory design.

His teaching interests encompass Material Manipulation and Expression, Technical Drawing, CAD (2D/3D), Manufacturing Processes, Smart Mechanisms, and Product Innovation. He is particularly focused on the design and development of furniture, interior products, home décor, and lifestyle accessories, while promoting the integration of modern technologies, digital design tools, and advanced manufacturing practices within design and fashion education. His approach emphasizes bridging creativity with technical knowledge to foster innovation and industry-relevant learning since 2014.

Chitra S. is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Communication department at NIFT Bhopal, from 2022 onwards. As an architect, academician, and interior designer with nearly 15 years of combined industry and teaching experience, she specializes in space design, visual merchandising, and geometry. She teaches core subjects like store design, exhibition design, user experience in retail, and dining décor. She previously managed high-end residential and commercial projects, as a senior architect and creative head. She holds an M.Arch.

Mohmad Rijwan Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories department, specializing in illustration.

A dedicated contributor to the design field since 2013, he has extensive teaching experience across courses in design, sketching, logo creation, calligraphy, digital communication, and visual representation. Notably, he recently designed the official logo for the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB).

Dr. Prabhat Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA) Design Department at NIFT, Bhopal. He specializes in product design, design methodology, intelligent manufacturing, ergonomics, design decision-making, AI applications in manufacturing, and systems design. Since joining NIFT in 2018, he has taught multidisciplinary design courses, mentored undergraduate students, and coordinated academic activities. At NIFT, he currently serves as the Campus Coordinator of the F&LA Department and the Grievance Redressal Officer.

Ms. Baisakhi Dalapati is Assistant Professor of Fashion Communication and specializes in Print Media Content and Mass Communication. She teaches undergraduate courses. She joined the Institute in 2022. She previously served as Assistant Professor at Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, Haryana, from 2019 to 2022. Before joining academics, she was a Senior Journalist at United News of India, New Delhi, from 2006 to 2015. She holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and has qualified NET in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Swati Vyas is a textile designer and academician, with an experience of 18 years in the field of design and fashion. She joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhopal, as an Assistant Professor in 2014. She also served as an Associate Senior Faculty in the Textile and Apparel Design Discipline at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh, for about 2 years on lien. She has contributed to various publications and presentations in national and international journals, seminars, and conferences.
